MTMT administrator training
The Institutional Administrator of the ELTE MTMT provides regular training for faculty MTMT administrators. The training courses cover the tasks of the administrator, the operation and use of the database, and the most frequently asked questions about teaching and authorship. Training requests are welcome at mtmt@lib.elt.hu.
EDIT administrator and user training
The Institutional Administrator of the ELTE Digital Institutional Repository provides regular training for faculty EDIT administrators and librarians. The training covers the administrator’s tasks, the uploading process, the operation and use of the repository, and frequently asked questions. For training requests, please contact the University Library staff member at editadmin@lib.elte.hu.
ILS Training
The University Library offers professional training courses twice a year for University Library Service staff, focusing on the following topics:
- Journal processing in the Cataloging module
- Journal management
- Cataloging module usage
- Cataloging services
- Circulation module usage
- Circulation services
- Processing of rare books in the Cataloging module
- Subject indexing (beginner level)
- Subject indexing (advanced level)
Course announcements are distributed via the KOLIBRI librarians' mailing list, and registration is possible by sending the required information as specified in the announcement to ikr@lib.elte.hu.
In addition to basic training, the University Library also offers annual refresher courses, which focus on identifying and correcting common errors, tracking changes in the shared ILS, and presenting related services. Participation in refresher courses is mandatory for all library system users every three years. Related information – such as training schedules and mandatory participation is available via the EKLApps platform.
