Book storage visit by the leaders of the University and National Library of the University of Debrecen

Gyöngyi Karácsony, the Director General of the University and National Library of the University of Debrecen and her colleagues visited our library on 27 March 2025. The primary purpose of the visit was to explore our storage areas, review our storage system, and share professional experiences related to document preservation. The librarians from Debrecen had the opportunity to look at the different storage rooms of the library palace, including the compact storage, periodicals, and book storage areas. The pleasant tour ended with a visit to the historic storage room, followed by a brief book presentation in the Council Room, where our colleagues gave a short book presentation for the participants. We sincerely appreciate the interest of our colleagues from Debrecen and the enriching exchange of experiences.
